Christmas is over.. boo hoo. We had a fantastic time this year. Lots of food, prezzies, and good times shared between family and friends. Little Christmas Eve (23rd December), started the festive period off well. Myself and my boyfriend(tom), had a nice evening meal together. Christmas eve was fantastic and we really had a good time. Lots of food eaten, plenty of presents opened and a little bit of drink, drunk. We had duck and pork as our main meals. I think Tom ate to much as he struggled to sleep that night. Must have been the duck fat. After the food we did our traditional dance round the tree. A few classic danish songs and then onto opening the presents. Their were some super gifts. I got the whole twilight book collection. Pretty excited about that, as wells as a new top, belt, lots of candy, and other items. I had lots to open which I enjoyed thoroughly. Christmas day, we took it easy. We watched a couple of christmas movies, including Trading Places. In the evening we joined my sister to watch her boyfriend play in his band. This went from 11pm to 3am. A great night though and a great way to finish off the day. On boxing Day (26th Dec), we headed over to my other sister jeanette for some more family time. This was a lovely afternoon, eating more great food and playign some games. We had curried herring, pork roast, pate, frikadelles, and eel. A whole assortment of food that all tasted good. Tom got caught up into the fifa 2010 with my younger cousin. A fun afternoon had by all. Now we are taking it easy. Getting psyched up for new years. |

Waking up this morning was a struggle, especially looking out of the window at the white outside. Windy, almost blizzard like conditions really whipping through the back yard. The snow is starting to come in thick and fast on the final run in to Christmas. We saw Avatar last night, well worth the wait to see, some great acting and some amazing special effects. Myself, and Tom went to the biggest theater in Copenhagen called the imperial. we enjoyed it immensely and would recommend anyone else to go see it for sure.
Hopefully, some pictures will be put up. Unfortunately we forgot our camera lead so having a hard time getting some uploaded. But in the next few days that will be resolved. Wishing everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year. Hope you 2010's go fantastic. |

So far has been a great trip in Denmark. We have had the opportunity to vheck out Copenhagen, see lots of great friends, and also have a little time to go to the gym. Copenhagen has been beautiful, especially with the large amount of snow we have had here. Myself and Tom have been staying at a friends house near the beach. Its crazy to walk on a beach filled with snow. Just a little different to the sun filled beaches in Florida. Its been nice though, although the constant -degree weather is a little taxing. It is nice to experience a proper winter, certainly makes you want to get back into the ski scene again with all that lovely bright sunshine. |

The Malayia world cup stop is fast approaching. We leave this Wednesday from Humberside, then onto Amsterdam before our big leg all the way to Kuala Lumpur. Last year we had a great time in KL, and this year we are really looking forward to it. Take a look at my blog to get more updates. |
